The Brooklyn Philharmonic‘s programs highlight and celebrate the spectrum of diversity and interests of Brooklyn. One event, the Bed-Stuy series, paired Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) with the Brooklyn Phil to explore the neighborhood’s rich musical past and present. Our artwork was inspired by the styles of jazz icons as well as the work of activist designer Emory Douglas.
